The Langston-Daniel House, circa 1820, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is home to Brick House Studio - a gallery venue for rotating exhibitions of artwork by local and visiting artists.
"I first lived in the Brick House during the late 70's, where as a rentor I shared the place with fellow art students.  When I moved to nearby Athens, I continued to rent studio space at the  Brick House, and by 1990 I had returned to the old home where my children had room to grow and play.
Since purchasing the property in 1993, it has been an honor and pleasure to be the current “caretaker”, to carefully oversee it’s restoration, and to open the house more and more to visitors and guests who invariably remark on it’s positive energy and timeless charm.
I  would like to invite activities, artists, and any individuals interested in utilizing the property’s inspiring environment and natural healing energy.  The house definitely has a feeling of 'sanctuary'.
If you and/or someone you know are interested in conducting classes and/or workshops in the 'fine arts' and/or 'healingarts' at Brick House Studio, please contact me."
